Tell us what’s wrong

Describe what you hear, see or feel. Does the sound cut out? Is a string buzzing? Is something loose? You don’t need to name the repair.

Mention when it started, any previous repairs and whether the instrument was dropped or recently adjusted.

Send clear photos

Send one photo of the whole instrument and a few close-ups of the problem. Use good light and show the area around any damage.

Photos help us start the conversation. Some problems need an in-person inspection before we can confirm a price.

Tell us what matters

Tell us what you want from the repair: easier playing, reliable sound, fixing damage or a new look.

Mention any deadline when you enquire. We’ll confirm a visit by email; please wait for our reply before coming in.

Check the price

Ask what the price covers and whether parts or strings cost extra. Major repairs are quoted after inspection.

If something is broken or coming loose, don’t glue or force it back into place. Send a photo and ask how to handle it before your visit.
